Texting and Driving

If I were a congressman, I would propose a law stating that texting in a car would be completely banned, but calling people would be allowed at the age of 19 but it still wouldn’t be recommended. I understand that this is the Colorado law for phone use (texting/calling) , but I think the law is such a good law that as congressman of Colorado, I believe that it is perfect, because texting is just a terrible thing to do while driving because of the risks of hurting yourself (a tax payer and voters), other drivers on the road (other tax payers and voters). Even though driving while calling is a bit better, all you need is one second away from the road and everything can happen. But, at the age of 19 I believe our youth are intelligent enough to not call while driving.

Besides, is it truly worth the risk of sending “yeah” or “where you at” to a friend. I have heard of many deaths and major injuries because of people who’s last texts before it happened where, ” hey” or “so what are you doing?” or “yeah.” Is it truly worth the risk of death or major bodily harm? Tell me, is the last text that you just sent, worth all that can happen because of your actions on the road?

There are many people who we would think that they would understand that it’s a bad thing to do. For instance a soldier on shore leave, was texting while driving and he died because he lost control of the car for looking down at his phone. He was sent through his window and flew 200 years. Even the people that you wouldn’t expect to do it, do it occasionally.

Reflection on Cartoon Character

The name of my project was Cartoon Character. The purpose was to make the Pokemon Snorlax. I used Google images, Cinema 4D, my ipod safari images and firefox images. I looked at the images from all these different portals because when you google the exact same word different things come up. Yes, I was done when the project was due, but I believe that I could’ve done much better with a background because the sky is rather sad looking. Once I figured out what I wanted I was rather straight forward except for a certain day where I was texting my father to find out what happened to him and his car. I met the expectational goal because I created a rather good looking version of Snorlax.  I believe it would because it looks good when rendered and some people who see it could remember when they used to play the pokemon game and had to deal with the sleeping snorlax. From the previous projects I learned how to flatten a sphere to create feet and and to extrude to make teeth and claws. my project is creative in how I created a pokemon that is laying in the middle of a road sleeping. It also shows how it this part of the pokemon game would look if it had better 3D graphics. As a grade I would give my work a 44 because I was off track at times but I still made a good looking cartoon character.  Reflecton of Cartoon Character( Snorlax)

Photo Journalism Post 1

1. I’m taking Photo Journalism 2 because I took Photo Journalism 1 and I enjoyed that class. Also, I would like to learn more about shooting photos as well as see if I would like to have a future in photography.

2. I am looking forward to learning new was to view the world a new way threw the lens of a camera. Also, I want get better at shooting because last years photos were rather shabby.

3. I expect out of this class to better my photography skills. I believe it will help me better myself when it comes to using my own camera at home.

CCT-Web Apps Class

1. I have decided to take this class because  I took the level 1 class of 3D Animation and I really enjoyed the classwork, what I learned in this class and the people in the class. The class is very fun and I get to learn to do things that not many people know how to do these days. Also, I get to be in SkillsUSA, and in doing that, it may help me get into what ever I apply for. College is very important and at graduation I get a badge or something that shows that I was in the Computer Magnet Program, which will also help for college  applications.

2. When this class is completed I hope to have mastered creating cartoon figures from tv shows like Star Wars and the Looney Tunes. I also want to be able to make a much better house that my sophomore version house. Also, I want to master Photoshop because I’ve always been very bad at it. Finally, I want to have mastered making a whole chess game animation.

3. One project that I’m particularly  excited to work on is the final semester project. I enjoy this project because I get to be partners with a friend in the class. Also, the final project tests me on all that I’ve learned during the whole semester. This is a confirmation for me that I can actually do something in the class. Finally, the final project is always a month long project which makes it a very time consuming project so then I can make it look as good as possible.
